The Striker uses 3-axis of motion which control its suspended formula tub housed within its chassis. Other exciting features include; triple 50” plasma displays, force feedback steering, paddle and sequential shifters, fully adjustable hydraulic pedals, remote trainer management and motec data logger support to name just a few. iDT Simulations is pleased to announce a new partnership between iDT and Mak Modding Group (MMG).

Both team leaders, after long discussion about the future of simulation racing have decided it was best for both teams to move forward in a partnership. With a clear vision of what we want to achieve personally, and for simulation racing, we will endeavor to provide the community and our business partners with the highest quality auto racing simulation software.

Petros Mak, otherwise known as Yanden, the leader of MMG (Mak Modding Group) said:
I personally feel very honored to be able to have this partnership within our two groups and hope we can work together to create things that will boggle the world. The two most defining teams in modding today, working together on common goals, this partnership between IDT and MMG will surely show the world what can be done when two great teams work together rather then bicker and squabble against each other. I for one am very proud of this partnership and to be able to associate MMG with IDT.

Pierre of iDT said :
Upon speaking with Petros today, I realized that he and I share the same vision of partnership, and a zero tolerance for greed and personal agenda. During this conversation we agreed to form a partnership between iDT and MMG to share this common goal. http://www.mak-racing.org/

There are certain things in Motorsport that can not be faked. Passion, Drive and Commitment are the characteristics that mark all championship caliber teams. We are pleased to announce a partnership that embodies all of the above.

Motorsport Simulators, LLC and iDT Simulations, LLC have joined together in a strategic partnership. We have come to the dawning of a new era in racing where the utilization of simulation technology off track is paying huge dividends at the circuit. This merger brings the pinnacle of hardware and software technology together and allows us the ability to provide turn key solutions for a variety of scenarios.

You can not put a price on time and we can help you get to the business of turning hot laps far quicker than your competition. Professional teams have used our products to obtain a baseline setup for their car before ever arriving at the circuit. Our products allow drivers to stay sharp when they are away from the circuit. We give engineers an opportunity to work with their driver and car in the shop or over the internet. The cost to take your team to a test day keeps edging up, our packages offer you the ability to baseline the car before arriving at the circuit.

Developing product branding and driving brand awareness, these are the biggest reasons your sponsors chose you. We can help you promote your sponsors. We have traveled the globe running our software at some of the largest tradeshows on the planet. There is nothing that draws a crowd like the sound of a race prepped motor thundering along at 180 plus mph! Use our systems as a hospitality tool or take advantage of the crowd they draw to bring your sponsors brand to the masses.

Has your sponsors logo just changed? New livery going on the car for a certain event? No problem! We can change it in our software and customize our simulators to reflect your teams image as quickly as you can come up with new ideas. If you would rather leave the artwork to us, we can also provide turnkey solutions for your Livery and any other artwork that your team or sponsors may need.

Motorsport Simulators, LLC designs and builds professional race car simulators for drivers that insist on the most realistic experience possible. We utilize high end components and materials to hand craft every one of our simulators to fit our individual clients needs. Our mission statement is simple, Produce the most comprehensive race car simulators in the world while keeping the price within reach. We would like to take this time to wish all the USA Formula BMW drivers a successful season opener at Miller Motorsport Park (May 17/07).

Formula BMW has proven itself as the premier open wheel entry level professional series on the planet. The Formula BMW program is so much more than just a race series. iDT Racing Simulations is very pleased to give the community the opportunity to campaign these identically prepared machines. You have cars from every country at your finger tips. IDT would also like to take a moment to welcome the Speedwerx team into the family. Without these guys the Formula BMW project would NEVER have come together.

Oh yeah, if you happen to see a black car with a Kangaroo on the side pods behind you or a PTG car in your mirror, MOVE! These guys are extremely dangerous and can not be trusted to pass cleanly under any circumstances!

iDT Simulations is pleased to announce the release of its long awaited Formula BMW and Lamborghini Gallardo mods for rFactor.

Auto-Art Designs, in conjunction with iDT Racing Simulations, is proud to announce the Lamborghini Gallardo Challenge.

After creating the Gallardo GT3, about 30 people propped their feet up on their respective desks, sat back and looked at it. We were happy, but not even close to finished! Here's the check list that was used to finish things off.

1. Model tweaked to the point of madness.

2. Physics were done, then refined, then refined at least 73 more times. Obsessive Compulsiveness is a good thing in this situation.

3. Testing was carried out on 27ish different circuits to make sure the handling was superb under all conditions. This testing was not done because we were having so much fun driving the car. We did this purely to make sure it was perfect. Yeah, that's why we did it.

This is the culmination of hundreds of hours poured into modeling, physics and painting. The car has gone through weeks of R&D at the hands of professional race drivers. Yes folks, we had actual real life guys that get paid to drive cars shake this thing down before handing it off to you. Amazingly enough, all of them REALLY liked it!

The creation of this car has been an absolute labor of love and we hope that you enjoy racing it as much as we have enjoyed making it.

iDT Simulations is pleased to announce the release of Miami-Bayfront Park Circuit, in addition to our 2005 Toyota Atlantic community project.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of projects we have on the go, we have not had the time to focus on the 2005 Toyota Atlantic Conversion like we hoped. It still needs work and will be released as a public beta / project. We are asking the community to help us out with this. We ask you if you fix or update something to post the update in our Public iDT forums in the Atlantic section ( www.idtsimulations.com/f ). When there is a good amount of fixes available, we will then create a update for the community and release it. We are sorry for the inconvenience but things have picked up around here for the best!

iDT Simulations is pleased to announce one of our holiday presents to the community; the release of a new scratch built track, Livet Glen.

One of our newest members, Alex Sawczuk, along with some much appreciated advice and texture help from SLN has completed this wonderful circuit, his first, in just over 2 ˝ months despite a hard drive failure and real life commitments getting in the way.

Set in Scotland, UK, Livet Glen is a short club circuit full of technical off camber dropping corners and fast kinks, as well as the occasional slower corner. The track comes with 4 variations, allowing for 26 to 28 cars standing start and up to 45 from a rolling start. With great elevation changes and a couple of apexes hiding behind the occasional blind rise, this track will delight your senses and challenge your skills.

We would like to thank Alex for bringing out this track as part of the iDT family, SLN for his invaluable assistance and to the entire sim community this holiday season. If this great circuit is Alex's first track, one can only anticipate what he will bring to us in the future. Welcome, Alex, and thank you!

IDT would also like to wish everyone happy driving, a happy holiday season and healthy and prosperous new year.

Re: iDT Fun Cup Challenge

iDT Simulations, LLC., is pleased to announce both the next release of the iDT Fun Cup Challenge Mod for rFactor and the naming of iDT as the official game developer of the Fun Cup series.

In an exciting and groundbreaking move, the Fun Cup Challenge has been packaged as a full release game for those that don't already own rFactor and is available for direct download from the Fun Cup website at http://www.fun-cup.com/game.html. The free Fun Cup add-on mod for rFactor will also be available from the iDT website, www.idtsimulations.com.

Changes to the new release include compatibility with rFactor v1.150 and a restructuring of the team folders to allow for future expansion and inclusion of real teams and drivers. Due to licensing considerations, many of the previous fantasy liveries have been removed but are still available for download from rFactorCentral. One of the most exciting changes is the revised physics developed by actual Fun Cup drivers. With special help from Greg Clough, the Bernie Ecclestone of the Fun Cup Series, the driving feel of the Fun Cups is now spot on.

iDT would like to thank the team for thier hard work, Greg for his involvement and enthusiasm and ISI for their work on the full Fun Cup package. With the Fun Cups soon coming to America, everyone is very excited for the future of the series and expansion of the iDT Fun Cup Challenge.

Re: iDT Mod Team Re-Formed

Independent Developers Team (iDT) is pleased to announce the internal restructuring of our teams and staff to address our concerns of how to manage our future development plans while still maintaining a strong presence in the sim racing and modding community.

Effective immediately, the iDT you know and love now has expanded into two cooperative but unique divisions: The iDT Dev Team and the iDT Mod Team. Not only does this give us the opportunity to focus on multiple simultaneous projects, it opens up the Mod Team to new possibilities, new members and great new prospects.

Our vision for the iDT Mod Team is this: A fun and low pressure group bunch of guys/gals that want to make some cool mods for ISI's great sim, rFactor. A place where people can gather their skills and a place where others can develop their own. A place to maybe make some new friends and a place where we have regular voice meetings in Ventrillo to learn about 3ds MAX, Photoshop and to just shoot the bull about the day's race. Sometimes we even all get together in "Venny" and chat with people all over the world while we watch some Champ Car or F1 on Race Director or live on TV.

We highly value working together as a team and highly value loyalty, sincerely and determination to make the best dang mod that rFactor has seen yet. If you would like to inquire about some of the interesting plans the Mod Team has, not only for the iDT VW Funcup Mod but also for something new and exciting where you could get in on the ground floor and planning stage, keep an eye on our website and keep the other eye out for our new newly designed site, set to debut in a few weeks.

iDT's core philosophy is that we will never turn our backs on the community, that we will continue to support and grow our community and with the new division of our company, feel that we can move on to higher levels and also keep our feet firmly grounded to our roots. We have always dearly appreciated our fans and their support and will never forget. This is our humble way to try and give some back.

Please stay tuned more exciting information about the other new iDT Division.

In closing, all of the members and staff of the iDT Dev Team and the iDT Mod Team wish our pal Cristiano a speedy recovery and strength to those loved ones around him while he works through it. Man, what a sad thing, but we're pullin' for ya, mate and we'll be there for you and hope to you're back in action soon.

Re: iDT VW Funcup Challenge Mod for rFactor

Independent Developers Team, is pleased to announce the release of the iDT VW Funcup Challenge Mod for rFactor. Inspired by a real life spec racing series and enhanced by the creativity of our artists and modelers, the VW Funcup Challenge features 26 historic, classic and contemporary stunning cars to select from.

Based around a mid-mounted 1.8 liter VW/Audi engine mated to a 5-speed Audi gearbox and wrapped in carefully crafted liveries, these closely matched cars are as great on the track as they are in the showroom.

"We've been so deeply involved in pursuing our commercial interests that we felt it was about time to release something to the community purely for the enjoyment of everyone" said Pierre Pelonero, President of iDT from the newly opened team headquarters in Costa Mesa, California. "We wanted something that was really fun that would provide close and exciting competition and look good in the process. It all started out as kind of a joke but after the staff found out what a riot they were having with the nose-to-tail racing, it was decided we just couldn't keep all the fun to ourselves."

This release is timed to coincide with opening of our new public website and forums and cement our strategic partnerships with other well known groups in the sim racing community such as F1rst, Simcar and VMS. Pelonero says "it's exciting times here at iDT and we want people to know we will never forget our roots. Grab a download of our VW Funcup Challenge and just go have some fun."

The new iDT website, forums and contact information can be found on the web at: www.idtsimulations.com. Everyone is welcome to come for a visit, get a sneak peek at some of our other projects, get help, chat in our forums and get info on the VW Funcup Painting Challenge contest.
